Product feature
  1. PPE visibility
Certified Personal Protective Equipment colour. The product must be worn over all other garments and must not be covered by anything else, such as a parka or backpack. Protection cannot be guaranteed in the absence of natural light. This PPE product is for non-professional use. Wearing these products does not dispense the wearer from complying with current safety codes when hunting (see instructions).
  2. Durability
Very thick and durable 900 denier main fabric. Fluorescent parka made from tightly woven fabric to prevent punctures from thorns. Aramid reinforcement (fabric used to make bulletproof vests).
  3. Garment waterproof properties
The Supertrack parka passed a shower test under 100 litres of water/m2/hour for 4 hours. This test reproduces the same conditions as a heavy downpour. For further information, go to the website. All seams and zips are also watertight.
  4. Component Waterproof Properties
With a waterproof rating of 2000mm, the Supertrack parka provides extreme protection from the rain. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
  5. Water repellent properties
A fabric is water repellent when water runs off the surface of the fabric, without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. A fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. This treatment should be repeated during the life of the garment (we recommend after each wash). Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores. Solognac waterproof parkas have a water-repellent surface treatment.
  6. Component breathability
The Supertrack jacket is breathable with an RET value of 14 and side ventilation. To find out if a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the RET, the more water vapour generated by an active body is wicked away through the fabric, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET<9 = extremely breathable fabric / 920 = little or no breathability.
  7. Garment breathability
In addition to the breathability of the fabric used, Solognac develops technical solutions (zips, air vents, mesh, etc.) that improve the overall ventilation of this jacket.
  8. Pockets
All of the pockets are watertight. 2 hand pockets, 2 large pockets for cartridges, 1 pocket for a walkie-talkie, 1 licence pocket, 2 pockets for tagging rings.
  9. Hood
Highly resistant and removable. Height adjustable with elastic drawcord + toggles. Depth can be adjusted using the riptabs positioned at the back of the hood. Shape-memory visor for good protection of the face.
  10. A score to compare the environmental impact of products
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall score of ABCDE is designed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary participant in this environmental labelling initiative. For more info:
