Product feature
  1. Fill Power of the down/feather filling
For this down jacket with its 85/15 filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or more. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation and its capacity to "trap" air. Down with a higher fill power takes up more space and traps more air, thereby providing more thermal insulation.
  2. The advantages of a duck down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting fill power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-low weight: feathers are lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same level of insulation. This saves even more weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible *Our feathers come from Chinese ducks raised for their meat – we collect their feathers after they have been slaughtered.
  3. Care advice for a gilet filled with down and feathers
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket
    http://www.quechua.com/wash-your-down-jacket
  4. In the event of rain
This down jacket fabric is water-repellent. It makes drops of water run off the surface, which delays the time it takes for water to get inside the down jacket, giving you time to get out of the rain. The shoulders and hood of the down jacket, which are more exposed to the rain, are waterproof. However, we advise you to wear a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in case of prolonged exposure to rain.
  5. How to reactivate the water repellent property?
