Product feature
  1. A word from the product manager
An easy and accessible snowboard that really helps you progress. In order to offer a snowboard that represents better value for money, we have reviewed the transportation of our snowboards. That's why this snowboard comes without bindings. And to avoid compromising on either riding pleasure or board longevity, we've kept its wooden core.
  2. Target use and domain
The Serenity 100 is perfect on piste in all snow conditions. Soft flex and torsional strength, standard but not very pronounced camber, understated directional shape: it is designed to make it easier to learn how to snowboard. Features provide buoyancy in powder snow and even make it easy to handle for beginner freestylers. Its wooden core lets you push it on hard snow within reason.
  3. Directional Snowboard
The shape of the board is directional, i.e. the board has a nose and tail. It is not symmetrical; the tail of the board is slightly narrower than the nose, the bindings and the contact points (setback) of the snowboard are a little to the rear. A directional shape offers better edge grip in turns, better steering and improved acceleration when exiting a turn.
  4. Standard camber
A standard camber is curved upwards between the 2 points of contact between board and snow. Thanks to the flexibility of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring which improves edge grip on all types of snow, generates pop when switching edges and helps you accelerate out of turns.
  5. Soft, forgiving flex
The flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear. The flex of the Serenity 100 Evo about 2/5, which is soft and forgiving. This type of flex is very even from the front tip (nose) to the rear tip (tail), offering very predictable cornering with no surprises. The drawback is that, at high speed or on very icy snow, the board won't hold a nice, well-carved turn. It will slide and automatically slow you down.
  6. Soft, forgiving torsional strength
The torsional strength, i.e. stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 2/5. This makes the board easier to handle and pivot and more forgiving of edging mistakes. A soft torsional strength offers some freedom of movement between the feet. The pressure can be transferred slightly from heel to toe at the front foot, and from toe to heel at the rear foot. It is more forgiving of edging mistakes, which is key for beginners. The soft torsional strength is also suited to freestyle/jib use.
  7. 10 mm setback
The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 10 mm setback: classic setback of directional boards. It provides better grip in turns and buoyancy in powder snow because the weight is on the tail of the board which naturally raises the nose.
  8. Technical information
Front width 277 mm. Centre 241 mm. Rear 277 mm (size 146 cm). Radius 8.0 m. Effective edge 1,050 mm. No. of inserts: 8 + 8 (3 possible positions per binding/40 mm between each). Recommended stance: 500 mm.
  9. Recommended bindings
With the purple Serenity 100 binding, the board + binding set will be equal in terms of consistency of level and of design.
  10. When should I wax my snowboard?
Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed. They require regular maintenance just like all snowboards and skis: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: - either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide - or at the end of the season, so that the wax can protect the base throughout the summer
  11. What's the right size Serenity 100 for me?
Generally, for all-terrain use, choose -15 to -20 cm less than your height, e.g. a girl, who is 1.66m tall can select a board in the range of 151 and 146 cm. Smaller sized boards are easier to handle. A shorter board is also recommended for people who are light for their height. Choosing a longer board offers greater stability at high speed. 142 CM (30 - 60 kg) => from 1.57 m to 1.65 m 146 CM (40 - 70 kg) => from 1.61 m to 1.70 m
Product testing
  1. Composition
    Board : 70.0% Wood, 20.0% Glass - Fibre (FG), 10.0% Epoxy
  2. Storage advice
Wipe the edges at the end of the day so they don't rust. Ideally, wax every 5 outings. Storing for the summer: keep away from sunlight, you can leave your bindings on the board.
  3. Product information
A snowboard very tolerant of edge mistakes (supple torsion between the feet). Good on-piste grip and stability, thanks to its standard camber and wooden core.
