Product benefits
  1. Rod action
    Rod action
The stiffness due to the tip action aids long distance casting
  2. Distance
    Distance
3 lbs test curve lets you make medium range casts with weights up to 100 g
Product feature
  1. SIZE MATTERS
Length 9 ft (2.70 m). Lengths of carp rods at 9 and 10 FEET are used for carp fishing, roaming fishing, or to make it more compact in a quick session. The dismantled length of the rod is 1.40 m. No. of sections: 2 WEIGHTS: 325 g
  2. A TOP TIP ACTION ROD
Known as "fast action". The tip action of the Extrem-9 270 allows it to bend through the last third of its length to the tip. The rod's action is reduced, making the main body of these rods quite stiff. This means that the rod's action is reduced, ie it bends less when tension is applied by fish. The advantage is that the stiffness enables long distance casting
  3. RING SIZE
SEAGUIDE starting rings 40 mm, 30 mm, 20 mm, 16 mm, 12 mm, and 12 mm in tip. The distinguishing features of SEAGUIDE rings are that they are lightweight and highly resistant to braid. You can use braid on your reels with no fear of damaging your rings. This is a prime criterion of choice if you use braid regularly. RING GUIDES: The rings are attached via three legs. These 3-leg guides are stronger for greater resistance to heavy duty casting.
  4. FULL POWER AHEAD
The test curve of your rod is a gauge of two different but complementary characteristics: - The ability to resist a tension force similar to wrestling with a fish. -The rod's ability to cast a weight over a certain distance. The 3 lbs test curve will enable you to cast up to 100 g beyond 100m and master big fish with ease.
  5. THE LITTLE EXTRA
    1. INNOVATION: Improved visibility at night. The tip of the MOON CONCEPT lights up in contact with UV rays. It is recommended to go with the MOON CONCEPT headlamp 2. REEL HOLDER: The metal reel holder is adjustable. It allows balancing the assembly to be able to realiSe castings under the best conditions
  6. PRESS-FIT TYPE
Inverted press-fit: the lower (bigger) section has a slimmer cylindrical piece added to the upper end. This spigot press-fits into the end of the upper section. The spigot joint improves the through action of the rod. CAUTION! Before casting, check that the joints are properly assembled. A badly inserted spigot is the main cause of rod breakage.
  7. CHOOSING THE RIGHT ROD FOR YOUR HEIGHT
It is often said that the longer the carp rod, the further you can cast. But it is mainly your size (and your centre of gravity) which determines how far you cast. For example, if you are less than 1.70m tall, you will find a 13 foot rod less comfortable than a 12 foot rod. It will shift your centre of gravity towards that upper part of you body. Which means it will take more effort to use
  8. YOUR ROD BLANK
The term blank refers to the main part of a fishing rod, made of carbon or fibreglass, for example. For some of our rods we use the term HM carbon (High Modulus). For simplicity, the module expressed in tons would be the ratio between rigidity and weight. The higher the module, the lighter and more resistant the blank is, similar to the force exerted by a fish when reeling it in.
  9. MAINTENANCE
Everyday maintenance is simple: just clean your rods with warm soapy water, and then rinse and dry them carefully, paying special attention to the joints. This step is very important to make sure you remove any sand which can damage your rods.
  10. PRESS-FIT TYPE
Inverted press-fit: the lower (bigger) section has a slimmer cylindrical piece added to the upper end. This spigot press-fits into the end of the upper section. The spigot joint improves the through action of the rod.

  12. YOUR ROD BLANK
The term "blank" refers to the main part of a fishing rod, which is often made of carbon or fibreglass. For some of our rods we use the term HM carbon (High Modulus). Put simply, the modulus (expressed in tonnes) is the weight to stiffness ratio of the carbon. The higher the modulus, the lighter the blank and the more resistant it is to constraints such as the force exerted by a fish during the fight.
  13. CAUTION!
Before casting, check that the joints are properly assembled. A badly inserted spigot is the main cause of rod breakage.

Product testing
  1. Composition
Structure : 100.0% Carbon fibre (CF)
  2. Storage advice
Before storing your rod, make sure it is not wet. To increase the life of your fishing poles remember to remove the lead sinkers before storing in the sleeve
  3. Product restrictions
Do not use near electrical sources or in a thunderstorm.
  4. Product catchline
The casting weight of the blank is good for casting the rig long distances and helps get the better of some good-sized fish. The fast action offers good feel transmission.
  5. Lab tested
In order to offer you highly technical and reliable fishing rods, our design teams test the equipment in the laboratory. They also test in the field under extreme conditions. Each element is selected to obtain a product that perfectly matches the technica
