Wadding thermal insulation
Thermal insulation is what keeps the skier or snowboarder at the right temperature: neither too warm, nor too cold. The garment then adapts itself to the physical activity of the body and the outside environment. We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. The wadding is a synthetic material with a polyester base that stores a greater or lesser volume of air depending on the size of fibres used. The thicker the wadding, the more air there is, and the warmer it is.
Membrane
The membrane is a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in while wicking away the perspiration produced by the body. The membrane is unbeatable when it comes to staying warm and dry.
Fully taped seams
In addition to the waterproof material, we enhanced the waterproofing of the 900 trousers by taping this seams. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. All the seams on the product are taped seams. They guarantee complete waterproofing in the snow.
Zipped air vents
The zipped air vents are zipped openings that can be used to adjust how much air can circulate and manage the evacuation of moisture during the active and inactive phases of your day on the slopes.
Durability
We know how much energy is expended during a day's skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we take particular care in choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible protection. Given that properly sharpened skis can tear or cut the bottoms of ski trousers or the shoulders of ski jackets, Wedze has added high-performance reinforcements to prevent tearing as much as possible.
Personalisation
There's a label at the top of the lining you can write your child's name on to personalise the product. A useful tip to help find your trousers when attending skiing lessons, at nursery or at school.
