Waterproofing of the 100 smock
This smock has been approved in a simulator reproducing the conditions of MODERATE RAIN
- Moderate rain corresponds to 60L/m²/hr - (rainfall of 60mm/hr) for 2 hours
- Component resistant to a water pressure of 2000mm after ageing (= 2000 Schmerber, the average pressure exerted by water during a downpour)
- 100% waterproof seams.
Adjusting the 100 smock: Neck fastening
The neck is fastened by zip only, which can go up over the mouth to shelter the user from wind and spray.
Adjusting the 100 smock: hem and cuffs
For better waterproofing, less wind penetration and greater freedom of movement:
*the hem and cuffs have bias edging on both sides
Pocket of the 100 smock
The pocket is positioned in accordance with 50-newton buoyancy aid vests, so that it remains accessible when sailing.
The size of the pocket has been designed so as not to be cumbersome or too heavy to avoid hindering manoeuvres or movements.
It was designed and tested to ensure it could carry a snack of two cereal bars. This means the contents remain stable in the pocket and accessible.
The smock can be rolled up into its pouch for storage
Cut
The hybrid cut of the 100 smock makes it feel quite large.
For women, we recommend choosing a size SMALLER than your usual size.
