The story of the Rockrider 100 S Cross-country mountain bike...
Entirely designed and developed in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the work of an expert team of passionate cross-country mountain bikers. The Rockrider team designed and tested the Rockrider 100 S mountain bike with their mountain bike testers. For your satisfaction, the Rockrider XC 100 S is assembled in our own factory in Lille, France, just a stone's throw away from our design team. For more information: http://virtual-tour-btwin-village.btwin.com/
SWITCH AND RIDE: ONE BIKE, MANY RIDES
The SWITCH & RIDE system is easy: a mountain bike frame compatible with 3 wheel sizes. 1/ You choose your Switch and Ride compatible mountain bike in 27.5", 27.5" Plus, or 29". 2/ You add a 2nd or 3rd pair of wheels. 3/ Enjoy all terrains!
A UNISEX MOUNTAIN BIKE
Men's or women's mountain bike? The Rockrider XC 100 S mountain bike is unisex. For greater comfort, the women on our mountain bike team recommend replacing the saddle with the Women's 500 Sport saddle, which is adapted to women's bodies.
CHOOSING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE SIZE
Several sizes available: S: between 1.50m and 1.64m M: between 1.65m and 1.74m L: between 1.75m and 1.84m XL: between 1.85 m and 1.95 m If you are on the limit between 2 sizes, we recommend following the exact size listed.
Frame
The Rockrider Cross Country frame offers 120mm of travel on the rear wheel. Its geometry has been optimised for performance: 69.5° steering angle. Made of 6061 and 6013 aluminium. FRONT SUSPENSION
Obstacles no longer pose a problem. Manitou Markhor front suspension with 120mm of travel, with an exclusive adjustment for the XC 100 S. Hydraulic suspension is both sensitive to small impacts (absorbs the slightest bump at low speed) and takes shocks well (absorbs large obstacles at high speed). Direct locking front suspension (in intermediate position or locked) on the handlebar using the Combo Lock handle. Suspension compatible with 29" and 27.5" PLUS wheels
Rear suspension
Correct your path and keep going faster, especially on technical sections. Manitou Radium Expert 120 mm rear suspension, specifically designed for the Rockrider XC 100 S mountain bike. Direct locking rear suspension (in intermediate position or locked) on the handlebar using the Combo Lock handle, that locks the front and rear suspensions simultaneously.
Drive train
Stay focused on your effort with this single chainwheel. SRAM NX drive train, 1x11 single chainwheel, for lighter weight, more precision, faster gear changing, and greater durability. The B'TWIN COMP stem is adapted to the size (70mm in size S, 80mm in size M, 90mm in size L, and 100mm in size XL). Semi-integrated headset with sealed bearings.
