Design details

Turnring system
The Turnring is an essential part of your helmet. This system enables easy and precise adjustment at any time thanks to a turn ring that is accessible even with your skiing gloves. It is comfortable in use and very safe. Turn the clip to the right to screw and to the left to unscrew.
Full Earpad
The Full Earpad is an ear design that enables better support, increased warmth and more comfort in use. The 2 ear pads are made from one textile piece, surrounding the back of the neck. The clip adjustment system is built into the neck contour.
Activ Air Cooling System
The Active Air Cooling System improves the thermal regulation in your helmet and reduces fogging in your goggles. This design helps guide the air to expel heat and humidity, by taking into account the complete helmet-goggle interface. You can control this airflow with the help of a cooling button on the top of the helmet.
Light Shell Construction
Light Shell Construction produces very lightweight helmets. This technique called In-Mold, forms an outer polycarbonate shell directly moulded on the EPS cap. The inner EPS lining absorbs shocks during impact. The whole system is very lightweight. Replace your ski helmet at least every 5 years if it hasn’t suffered a significant shock in the meantime.
MIPS Technology
MIPS is a technology which allows the interior surface of the helmet to move independently from the exterior shell. In the event of impact, the rotational forces will be dissipated better thanks to the range of movement from 10 to 15 mm.
RECCO System
The RECCO® search and rescue system features dual technology which supports the majority of ski rescue teams. The RECCO® detector used by rescue teams emits a directional signal. The RECCO® reflector built into the jacket returns the signal. This generates an audible sound which guides rescue personnel directly to the person needing assistance. Before setting off, make sure you get the information you need from the professionals at the resort
Cold barrier
The Cold Barrier really improves warmth. During your skiing and snowboarding session, you may feel a cold bar across your forehead. This is owing to a large gap between the top of the goggles and the helmet. The liner cap (or comfort foam) has a rim on the forehead, that protects you from the cold when folded down, creating a thermal barrier between the helmet and the goggles.
Removable textile
The internal ski helmet foam is detachable and machine-washable at 30°C.
EN 1077 STANDARD
Standard EN 1077 is a European standard applicable to helmets used for head protection during Alpine skiing and snowboarding. This Standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration.
