The JOKER 9.1 mm 80 m rope is designed to meet the three standards of dynamic ropes (single, double, half), offering a balance between lightness, fluidity, and safety. It is suitable for technical multi-pitch routes, large ridge climbs, and cliffs of 35-40 m, as well as experienced climbers looking for an all-around rope.
The UNICORE construction ensures that the core remains bonded to the sheath in case of a cut, reducing the risk of sheath bunching. Combined with the DRYCOVER treatment of the sheath, the rope offers better resistance to abrasion, moisture, and external aggressions, enhancing overall durability.
With a diameter of 9.1 mm, a weight of 52 g/m, 35% sheath, and 48 strands, the JOKER provides an ideal compromise between performance and handling. Shock force and elongation comply with UIAA requirements: dynamic elongation 34% and static 8%.
The Drycover treatment and low diameter limit drag in the routes and contribute to reduced shock force. The middle marking (Black Limit) facilitates length management and safety during handling.
