Bottom of the line Korda Leadcore leader Heli Safe (x2)
Improve your carp fishing with the Korda Heli Safe leader, the foolproof solution for helicopter mounts.
Sold and shipped by Sport & Go EU
The Heli-Safe system is perfect for use with any helicopter-style rig, whether you're using a conventional rig or a chod, and it's now available on Kable leadcore and ready to use straight out of the box.
These leadcore leaders are 1m long, making them perfect for securing everything to the lake bottom and protecting fish from line damage during the fight, but they're not so long that they negatively affect your cast. Not only is it an excellent anti-entanglement system, it's also very safe for the fish, as it incorporates the Mini Heli-Safe System - a more compact version of the original - and ensures that the line comes off at all times. It also incorporates our No-Trace safety system, which ensures that in the event of the main line breaking, the hook can easily detach from the leader, and each pack contains two spare No-Trace beads (they can also be purchased separately if you need more).
The top rubber of the No-Trace Safety System can be placed close to the leader when fishing on a clean bottom, or moved to the other end of the leader when fishing on weeds or debris, especially with chods. The Mini Heli-Safe can be adjusted in a number of ways to suit the fishing situation, with the standard spring releasing the sinker under minimal pressure and ensuring that it falls out when caught, which is ideal in thick weeds. It can also be replaced by the red spring (two supplied), designed for waters generally free of obstacles and weeds, where you only want to release the sinker if it gets stuck in something.
It's also possible to add a collar (two supplied) which means the lead will never be ejected, but in the event of breakage, the fish will always be able to free itself thanks to the No-Trace safety system. The use of a size 11 QC Ring swivel allows you to change rigs quickly and easily, and a spliced loop at one end makes it easy to attach to your main line - the loop-to-loop style is the simplest and most rapide. Kable Heli-Safe leadcore are available in Gravel Brown or Weed/Silt, two per pack, and also come with: 2 x No-Trace Beads spares; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe collars; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe red springs.
