The German climbing equipment manufacturer surprises with innovative solutions. The carabiner features a construction of lightweight metal alloys and reinforcement with a steel plate. Durable steel is used where the rope can wear the carabiner or where steel elements like plaques and posts can scratch the carabiner, potentially damaging the rope sheath. The carabiner is equipped with an efficient closure with a classic twistlock. By twisting the smooth ring, it ensures that the closure does not open by itself. The cross-section of the carabiner has an H-profile, allowing designers to achieve higher strength with less weight.
