For the first time ever, this second-tier Tacks stick features Sigmatex carbon. It's lighter, more efficient, and more consistent, and the Advanced Carbon Matrix (CCM) further enhances these benefits. Because CCM can use thinner carbon layers, their interaction can be engineered much more strategically. This reduces weight and improves energy transfer without sacrificing durability. The Tacks family of stick blades has evolved over the years. The ACU Feel Core provides a dampened, soft feel and allows for excellent puck control. The added softness also contributes to increased shot speed, as the puck adheres better to the blade during loading. But don't let the "soft feel" fool you: the AS-V remains extremely precise, and its torsional stiffness prevents breakaway on hard shots.
