Morgan Blue Hot Wax with Friction Modifier has been developed for road cyclists, mountain bikers and performance-oriented cyclists who want to get maximum efficiency from their bike.
The wax penetrates deep into the links of the chain and forms a dry protective layer that repels dirt, sand and dust. This keeps your drivetrain much cleaner and your chain runs noticeably smoother.
Unlike classic oil, this wax hardly attracts any dirt. No more black chains, no greasy drivetrain and less wear on cassette, chain and sprockets.
The formula is enriched with a Friction Modifier for even lower friction and more efficient power transfer.
Hot waxing requires a little more preparation, but afterwards ensures less maintenance and a much cleaner drivetrain.
Application
Degrease the chain thoroughly with Morgan Blue Chain Cleaner. (Also available from us, see instructions for use.)
Allow the chain to dry sufficiently or blow it dry.
Heat the opened can on a low heat source until the Hot Wax has completely melted (± 90°C).
Immerse the chain in the Hot Wax for about 15 minutes. Continue to heat the wax during this time.
Hang the chain up and let it drip off.
Wipe off excess wax with a cloth while the chain is still warm.
