The Cocoon TravelSheet Insect Shield in Sand is a premium travel liner designed for those who refuse to compromise on sleep quality while on the move. Crafted from long-staple Egyptian cotton, this liner provides an incredibly soft and smooth texture that feels cooling against the skin. It serves as an essential hygienic layer whether you are staying in high-altitude huts, budget hostels, or tents in warmer climates. The neutral Sand color provides a clean, sophisticated look that hides dust and travel wear effectively.
Portability and ease of use are at the core of this TravelSheet’s design. It is remarkably lightweight and compresses into a small stuff sack, making it a nearly weightless addition to your trekking or travel gear. The liner features a spacious integrated pillow sleeve, ensuring your pillow stays securely positioned throughout the night. With its generous dimensions, it offers plenty of legroom, allowing for a restful sleep without the restricted feeling often associated with standard liners.
On a technical level, the fabric is treated with Insect Shield technology, an odorless and invisible barrier integrated directly into the fibers. This treatment is highly effective at repelling mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, and fleas, providing critical protection in regions prone to insect-borne disturbances. The Egyptian cotton used is a rare, high-quality fiber that is significantly finer and more durable than regular cotton, offering superior breathability and moisture management during humid nights.
The primary benefit of this liner is the longevity of its protection; the Insect Shield treatment remains effective for up to 70 washes. Additionally, using a liner significantly extends the life of your sleeping bag by acting as a barrier against oils and sweat, reducing the need for frequent laundering of bulky gear. The high-quality weave is resistant to pilling and dries rapidly, making it perfect for travelers who need to wash and go within a single day.
