Lightweight, ultra-breathable triathlon cycling shoe designed with innovative Aeroweave materials to support a powerful pedal stroke and fast, uncomplicated transitions.DSECRIPTION:The Hydra Aeroweave carbon is a pure triathlon racing shoe that combines an innovative second-generation Aeroweave upper with a rigid carbon outsole for efficient pedaling and faster, hassle-free transitions FASTER TRIATHLON TRANSITIONS: As transitions become increasingly important - they are now considered the fourth discipline of any triathlon, whether it's a full Ironman race or a sprint distance - the triathlon shoe line has been redesigned to meet the needs of the most demanding athletes. The Transiro Hydra features a single Velcro strap to allow for faster, hassle-free transitions, where even the slightest mistake can result in losing crucial time. Plus, the wrap-around strap provides the foot support athletes need to be effective in all running situations. SOFTER AND BREATHABLE SUPPORT: The Aeroweave upper provides maximum breathability. Now in its second generation, the Aeroweave fabric interweaves nylon fibers with thermoplastic polymer filaments for an even lighter shoe that doesn't lose its original toughness, providing the strength and support needed in competition. The new upper is also more flexible, making it the ideal companion for those who prefer to tackle the bike segment without socks. PEDAL POWER: At its core, the R2 carbon fiber sole saves weight and increases stiffness, with a stiffness rating of 10, making it the most responsive sole in the Fizik line. A large air intake and deep internal channels provide cool airflow to help regulate temperature. The wedge is positioned slightly further back than traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, which is especially suited to the very aggressive aerodynamic positions adopted by triathletes.DETAILS Aeroweave upper: wraparound and extremely breathable mesh upper structure. R2 sole: fully unidirectional carbon Stiffness index 10 Weight: 225g
