TheAero XR is a technically advanced feeder reel that contains all the attributes required by top-level competition anglers. These include an anti-reverse feature, a lightweight CI4+ body and rotor, and advanced HAGANE gearing for unrivalled performance. If you're an angler or competitor, or if you fish at feeder and want a reel that matches your abilities, theAero XR is the solution. All reels balance perfectly with the feeder Aero X5, X7 and Pro rods from Shimano, giving you an exceptional combo that offers a competitive edge. Thanks to their super-fluid watertight brakes and additional anti-reverse function, you can fight fish directly with the brake when using strong lines and using the anti-reverse when using fine lines, or using a combination of both. The smallest size 3000 is perfect for all short-range feeder fishing, the medium size 4000 is ideal for medium-range feeder fishing and the largest size 5000 is ideal for long-range heavy feeder fishing. With a G-Free CI4+ body and rotor, all models are remarkably light, with the 4000 model weighing just 250g, a significant reduction compared with competing models of the same size. An added benefit you can feel is the precision and lightness of the spin, which is the result of rotor 's CI4+ construction and HAGANE Gear, X-SHIP and Silent Drive technology.Additional features include the best cold-forged aluminium AR-C spools, (including the spare spool) with a line reducer to reduce the reel's capacity. The larger 5000 model has an additional reducer for use with braid for long-distance feeder fishing. Power is provided by a screw handle and metal line clip that is strong and line-safe, reinforcing the XR's feeder fishing pedigreeVisually, the unobtrusive appearance of theAero XR is stunning, and combined with cutting-edge technology, it's sure to inspire the confidence you need for top-level performance.
