Gilbert Speedstar 6S Boots are designed for senior players who want to play fast, attack space and finish every move with precision. Built for back-line rugby players, these hybrid boots focus on responsiveness, grip and a feeling of freedom during changes of pace. The lightweight mesh upper wraps the foot to deliver a glove-like fit, while also helping reduce drag when you accelerate. The low collar frees the ankle and supports dynamic footwork, evasion steps, sidesteps and angle changes without a restrictive feel. The overall design aims to provide smooth running comfort, suited to fast actions and repeated attacking phases. Underfoot, the anatomical sprint chassis and the Speedplate HYB outsole work together to promote explosive acceleration and reliable control on soft and mixed pitches. The hybrid 6-stud setup, complemented by moulded TPU studs, delivers aggressive grip, while reinforced areas at the forefoot and sides are designed to better absorb contact, traffic runs, rucks and tackles. These rugby boots are made for demanding athletes looking for a premium build and a dynamic feel with every step. The combination of light weight, support and traction makes them a strong choice for playing with confidence when the pace rises. Key features:
Lightweight mesh upper for a precise fit and close-to-foot feel Low collar supporting freedom of movement and quick footwork Speedplate HYB outsole for acceleration and control Hybrid 6-stud configuration with moulded TPU studs for aggressive grip Reinforced forefoot and side zones for contact phases
Available in senior sizing, the Gilbert Speedstar 6S support players who want to use their speed and stay stable on soft or mixed ground. Reference: GIL26S011
