The ASTRO harness features a semi-rigid construction combined with contact areas padded with breathable 3D foam, ensuring ergonomic support and lasting comfort during suspension or rope progression. The widely spaced shoulder straps and narrow belts enhance freedom of movement.
The openable ventral attachment point allows for direct connection of a descender, progress lanyard, or seat (PODIUM / LITEPOD) without additional connectors. The integrated CROLL L increases efficiency in rope ascents and facilitates the integration of progression devices.
Donning and adjustments are simplified with the combination of FAST buckles (quick openings on shoulder straps and legs) and self-locking DOUBLEBACK PLUS buckles on the belt. These systems remain easy to handle even with gloves and ensure stable fit without slipping.
The belt is equipped with 7 pre-shaped gear loops, 2 TOOLBAG pouch locations, and tool holder loops, allowing for organized tools and accessories. Foldable lateral, sternal, dorsal, and rear attachment points on the belt cover positioning, fall protection, and restraint uses.
Made from polyamide, polyester, aluminum, and steel, the ASTRO harness meets EN 361, EN 813, EN 358, and EN 12841 type B standards, ensuring compliance and durability for work in difficult access.
