The flagship model of the new touring range, the new Almonte 12 PT pin binding combines excellent uphill characteristics with unrivalled downhill performance. This innovative TYROLIA product brings together the best features of touring skiing in a single product, starting with the toe piece, which stands out with its ergonomic lever (which can be operated using a pole or by hand) and simplified boot entry. Thanks to an optimised and narrower open pin position, correctly positioning the ski boot is child's play. The Almonte heel piece is a must-have, with its extra-easy transition between walk and ski modes, not to mention its automatic brake where all locking parts are on the inside to prevent icing. Three climbing aid angles (0°/6.5°/12°) ensure a comfortable ascent. Using the included spacer, the boot-binding setup can be fine-tuned to optimise power transfer and push the limits of downhill performance. Following the motto "Explore new paths", a new approach to materials has also been adopted to ensure that all plastic parts of the binding are made from renewable raw materials. These features and the light weight of 325g, including the brake, make the new Almonte the ultimate word in pin bindings.
