A real favourite of the team, the K2 Bond snowboard binding established itself right from its conception, developed with the participation of renowned riders such as Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski and Antti Jussila. It is the most freestyle-oriented binding in the K2 men's range, designed to offer lightness, flexibility and comfort. Versatile and high-performing, the Bond stands out with its sleek straps and its cushioning This Grips!™ outsole, guaranteeing an excellent feel and effective vibration dampening on all terrains. It prioritises the use of recycled and plant-based materials rather than traditional plastics and EVA. Its manufacturing process relies on solar energy for more than 40% of its power, and its FSC-certified packaging uses only cardboard and recycled paper, with no plastic. These choices result in approximately 40% plant-based materials by volume and 25% by weight for the Bond. The GT1 ankle straps and Wrap Toe straps show a 70% reduction in CO₂ emissions per kilo compared to classic TPU straps. The castor-bean-based Team Highback spoiler reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 40% per kilo compared to a nylon highback. The sugarcane EVA Shockpad decreases emissions by 90% per kilo compared to traditional EVA. All K2 Snowboarding bindings are delivered in 100% recyclable packaging, of which 95% of the materials are FSC recycled certified.
