The New Sherman PRO 10x42 model offers 10x magnification and utilizes a Porro prism design. These binoculars feature multi-coated BaK-4 glass optics and have a twilight factor of 20.5. Superior optical performance is the defining advantage of this series. Wide-angle objective lenses deliver a sharp and informative image without a tunnel effect, remaining highly detailed and clear across the entire field of view. The binoculars offer impressive light transmission that enables observation not only in daylight but also at dusk.
This is a versatile tool that is suitable for a wide range of conditions and tasks in terms of optical properties, reliability, and durability. It is an excellent companion on a hike, fishing trip, or sporting event. The binoculars are adapted to high humidity thanks to IP67 protection. This rating ensures that the instrument remains safe even during temporary immersion in water. They withstand temperatures ranging from −10°C to 53°C. The ergonomic body is constructed from ultra-strong aluminum alloy (duralumin) with a rubber-armored coating that protects against mechanical damage. Another beneficial feature for all-weather use is nitrogen purging that prevents internal fogging on the optical surfaces during sudden temperature drops.
The binoculars weigh under 1kg and are fairly compact. Interpupillary distance can be adjusted from 56mm to 70mm. The device has central focusing, and the twist-up eyecups with a click-stop system lock easily in one of three fixed positions. The device can be mounted on a tripod and comes with functional accessories. The objective lens caps are attached to the body to avoid an accidental loss of them in the field.
