The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO MAK 102/1300 SQ2 is a catadioptric telescope based on the Maksutov-Cassegrain design. Its compact and sealed optical tube facilitates transport and helps maintain optical system stability. This design delivers sharp, high-contrast images free from visible chromatic aberration. Main features: - 102 mm aperture and 1300 mm focal length. - Multi-coated optics. - SQ2 equatorial mount with slow-motion manual controls for precise celestial object tracking. - Red dot finderscope for quick object location and centering. - Steel tripod with accessory tray, providing a stable base. - The sealed Maksutov-Cassegrain tube rarely requires collimation; adjustment screws allow alignment correction when necessary. Astronomical observation: The two included SUPER eyepieces offer a choice between a wider field of view and higher magnification. The 25 mm eyepiece provides 52x magnification, suitable for viewing the full Moon, the Pleiades, and the Orion Nebula. The 10 mm eyepiece delivers 130x magnification for observing lunar craters and terminator details, Jupiter’s cloud belts, the Great Red Spot, Saturn’s rings, Titan, the globular cluster M13, and double stars such as Albireo, Mizar, and Alcor. Kit contents: - Telescope optical tube. - SQ2 equatorial mount. - SUPER 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, 1,25 inches. - 90° diagonal mirror. - Red dot finderscope. - Slow-motion controls. - Counterweight and counterweight bar. - Steel tripod. - Accessory tray. - User guide and warranty card.
