The Mammut 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry rope is a revolutionary double rope designed for alpine climbing and mountaineering, offering superior cut resistance while meeting all dynamic climbing rope standards. Featuring an additional aramid sheath between the outer nylon sheath and the core, it protects against sharp edges and metal corners. In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath deploys, maintaining the rope's dynamic behaviour. With optimised abrasion resistance and a climb-ready design, this rope enhances safety in the toughest conditions, making it suitable for various climbing scenarios.
