The lightest Nike long-distance running spikes ever created. The Zoom Matumbo model is perfect for running on a track at distances from 1,500 to 10,000 meters. Thanks to the Flywire technology used, they are an innovation among spikes by achieving the most lightweight construction possible, while maintaining the necessary protection for the foot and without compromising the durability of the shoe.
The use of super-durable Flywire fibers allowed us to abandon synthetic layered structures or standard reinforcements in the heel area. This resulted in a shoe that perfectly fits the foot, which is an ideal solution for long-distance runners who want to achieve the best results on the track.
Modern Flywire technology increases the durability of the shoe and gives the feet support exactly where it is needed. The foot does not move in the shoe, and the stability and fit during running achieved thanks to the incredibly low weight are a breakthrough in the design of athletic spikes.
The use of airy, very light mesh ensures excellent foot ventilation and a feeling of comfort during running.
Midsole The Flashlon foam formed as a result of a technologically advanced pressing process guarantees incredibly low weight, comfort during running and adequate cushioning. It also provides basic support at the midfoot level for the main arch of the foot.
Outsole The sole modeled on a horseshoe with four durable Omni-Lite screws allows for fast running over long distances. The TPU Sharkskin used on the heel - a material modeled on shark skin, allows for a reduction in the weight of the shoe, while providing excellent grip on various types of surfaces. The optimal positioning of the screws allows for maximum grip.
