An unparalleled next-generation protection. The VORONOÏ CARBON is the equestrian helmet that brings together the very best in next-generation protection, combining carbon, in-molding, and temporal protection. Carbon: The outer shell of the VORONOÏ CARBON is made from carbon fibre, a high-tech material whose layered woven structure offers exceptional resistance to impacts. In-molding: A sheet of polycarbonate is overmolded onto the inner cap, adding an extra protective barrier between the outer shell and the EPS cap. EPS cap: The use of an outer carbon shell and in-molding technology allows for the use of particularly absorbent low-density EPS. Temporal protection: The VORONOÏ CARBON is the first equestrian helmet equipped with temple protection (removable option), reducing the risk of concussions in the most vulnerable part of the skull. Safety first. Our aim to develop the first equestrian helmet for better protection of the temporal area stems from a fact: every year in France, more than 150,000 head injuries require an emergency visit, of which about a quarter are due to sports or leisure accidents. These injuries can be attributed to the vulnerability of the brain and the thinness of the skull. The temporal area accounts for 80% of serious brain injuries. Protecting the temple reduces the risk of concussion in the most fragile part of the skull, the temporal region. In fact, behind the temporal bone lies the meningeal artery. Even minor trauma can damage this artery, forming a hematoma and compressing brain cells, leading to severe consequences or even death. The VORONOÏ CARBON helmet is the only one that considers the temporal area, absorbing and distributing the shock wave over a large surface to reduce risks. Tested since the work of the WG11 group (Work Group 11), protection against rotational impact is perfectly assured, without extra gimmicks, whose supposed benefits have never been demonstrated by independent laboratories, including the Virginia Tech Lab. Safety, comfort, and lightness. The inner cap of the VORONOÏ CARBON is designed with one of the most absorbent EPS (expanded polystyrene) foams on the market. An integrated rib (between the upper part of the cap and the lower temporal part) strengthens the structure and provides crush resistance well above standards. FREEJUMP drew inspiration from technologies used in cycling and ski helmets by integrating a polycarbonate sheet directly over the EPS. This In-molding technology, combined with the outer carbon fibre shell, provides exceptional impact resistance thanks to this three-layer construction. The interior lining is made with high-quality Italian fabric to maximize comfort, breathability, and head support. It is detachable and washable (wash at 30°C and air dry) to ensure comfort and hygiene. The VORONOÏ CARBON helmet is extremely lightweight for unparalleled long-term comfort: +/- 500g without the lower temporal protection with lining and long visor, +/- 600g with lower temporal protection. Design and ventilation. Inspired by the distinctive geometric pattern that gave the helmet its name, the two vents (front and back on the outer shell) are designed to optimize airflow for exceptional thermal regulation. The Voronoï pattern, with its irregular geometric cells, creates a unique and captivating aesthetic reminiscent of dragonfly wings. Each cell of the Voronoï pattern is carefully positioned to maximize resistance and airflow through the helmet, thus optimizing safety, ventilation, and breathability. The inner cap of the VORONOÏ CARBON includes 20 vents maximizing ventilation. The interior lining is equipped at the front with a half-moon shape made of ABS (attached to the front edge of the inner shell) complemented by 2 openings directing airflow as it enters the helmet. Personalization, style, size range. The VORONOÏ CARBON is customizable. It is poss
