    • Great tent, with lots of headroom!

      LF (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
I was looking for a tent that was small enough for one + kit, but had enough headroom to kneel up & "live" in it for several days. It still needed to be easy/quick to put up on my own in the dark, and pretty lightweight.
The Quickhiker 2 is a perfect size for me + my kit (but you definitely could sleep 2 for the odd night, though as with all 2man tents it would be tight and there wouldn't be much room for kit too!)
I have used this tent year round, and never had a problem - it has good ventilation, yet the inner isn't totally mesh so it's fine camping in winter & the flysheet goes right down giving good wind/rain protection.
Very stable, easy & quick to pitch, lightweight, useful little porch each side (not very big but great for muddy boots etc) and goes back in its bag easily. The only negative is that the groundsheet is thin - would LOVE a footprint but I've used it without a problem now many, many times!

This tent performs far better than you may expect for the price, and has features seldom seen at this weight/pricepoint - in particular the headroom. I really cannot fault it and strongly encourage Decathlon/Quechua to keep this tent in their range - it is a far superior tent to many of the Vangos which are its direct competitors in the marketplace!
great headroom! Amazing tent for the price/weight
ONLY negative is the thin groundsheet
    • great tent!

      Pete (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought this for a 4 week backpacking trip in portugal with the girlfriend. Both agreed it was the best purchase of our trip. Can be a bit snug for 2, but we survived 4 weeks together without killing each other, so there is defo enough space for a relationship to survive! was excellent for warm and cold nights and the ventilation is excellent. The 2 entrances were really important for 2 people sharing for so long, and allowed for good airing on hot days.
The inner part of the tent never got any condensation thanks to the double layers and was great protection against mozzies etc when you wanted the outer doors open.
It is definitely a sturdy tent, easy to carry and put up/pack away. Can't recommend it enough!
sometimes outer shell zip would catch when closing
    • A nice surprise

      George (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
This tent was an emergency purchase during a cycle tour in France. It proved to have some good design features, to be well made from what appear to be quality materials and was excellent value. I particularly like the inner tent being made partly of a darker than normal material which makes sleeping easier. The short pole sections are easy to stow on a cycle. Two entrances are very useful with a small two person tent.
Dark inner tent, two entrances, short pole section
Nothing, I got more than I was expecting.
    • Best tent

      darren (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
This is the best tent I've had, I love how the poles are on the tent, you just fit them together and push it through, so easy, plus it's nice and cosy inside with a couple of pockets and a shelf above for you to put your phone or keys.
    • Fantastically designed little green wonder tent

      Russ (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I saw several videos of this tent and was hooked on its genius design. I wanted something lightweight, very portable and well ventilated for a cycle tour along the western coast of France next year. This tent is perfect. And it's kermit green!
Built in poles, excellent ventilation, lightweight
      Absolutely nothing whatsoever
