    Product feature
    1. A word from the product manager
The Carve is the snowboard for women of a good level. Comfortable on the groomed slopes, it tackles carve turns well, very dynamic edge to edge, and as a snowboard, it is also comfortable off-piste.
    2. Programme / Terrain
As the name suggests, the Carve shines on groomed slopes. It can also be used on occasional powdery snow. A reliable choice for all advanced snowboarders. It represents everything you could wish for in a versatile snowboard. From blue runs to black, just off-piste or in snow that's badly rutted, the 500 Carve suits the maximum number of people on the widest range of terrain.
    3. DIRECTIONAL Snowboard
The shape of the board is directional, i.e. the board has a nose to tail. It is not symmetric: - the tail of the board is slightly narrower than the nose, - the bindings as well as the contact points of the board on the snow are slightly set back. A directional shape offers better grip when cornering, better management of the trajectory and better recovery when exiting a turn.
    4. Standard CAMBER
A standard camber is curved upwards between the 2 points of contact between board and snow. Thanks to the elasticity of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring to give you grip on all types of snow, pop when switching edges and acceleration on exiting turns.
    5. Medium, Versatile FLEX
The flex (stiffness of the board between front and rear) of the Carve is about 3/5, i.e. medium and versatile. It offers predictable handling when cutting corners and is forgiving of edge mistakes.
    6. Medium and Versatile TORSION
The torsion (torsional stiffness of the board between the feet) is about 3/5, which is fairly stiff for good hold in the curves, recovery coming out of a turn and responsive edge transition. This is what confers the Advanced to Expert level on the Carve whilst making it extremely accessible.
    7. 10 mm SETBACK
The Setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 10 mm setback => standard setback for directional boards. It provides better grip in turns and flexibility in powder snow because the weight is on the tail of the board which naturally raises the nose.
    8. Technical information
Front width 279 mm / Centre 239 mm / Rear 279 mm (Size 146 cm) Radius 7.8 m Effective edge 1080 mm Number of inserts: 8 + 8 (3 possible positions per binding/40 mm between each) Recommended stance: 500 mm
    9. Extruded Base/Glide Performance
Extruded base (manufacturing process that is different from sintered bases) Provides a normal glide and good durability over time. Requires regular maintenance: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: -either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide -or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth and allow the wax to penetrate into the base throughout the summer (ideally with the bindings pointing downwards).
    10. Sold as a pack with Illusion "450" bindings
Illusion 500, but without the Full pad EVA. It has: _ 3D ankle strap + + foam to perfectly join the shoe for perfect support. The foam provides a tight fastening and keeps feet extremely comfortable. _ cap front strap (position on toes only) for unbelievable comfort and support _ Easy TURN STRAP opening system to stop the strap getting in the way when putting shoe on. 146 cm/M = #33/43. 151 cm/M = #33/43
In general, for all-terrain use, go for -15 to -20 cm. (e.g. a girl with a height of 1.66 m can take a board that is between 151 and 146 cm in length). _ Choosing smaller makes things easier. This is also advised for people who are light for their height. _ Choosing bigger offers greater stability at high speed. 146 cm (40 - 70 kg) => from 1 m 61 to 1 m 70 151 cm (50 - 85 kg) => from 1 m 66 to 1 m 75
    Product testing
    1. Composition
      Chassis : 100.0% Polyamide (PA) Board : 34.0% Wood, 33.0% Epoxy, 33.0% Glass - Fibre (FG)
    2. Storage advice
Wipe the edges at the end of the day so they don't rust.Waxing is required on a regular basis, ideally every 5 outings. Keep away from sunlight when storing during the summer.
    3. Cleaning advice
For good glide performance, wax your board regularly; every two or three trips is ideal. At the end of the season, leave a coat of unscraped wax to protect the base when not in use. This also nourishes the board throughout the summer as the wax penetrate
    4. Product catchline
With its standard camber, wood core and medium torsion, the snowboard will grip onto all snow and not let you down. Guaranteed comfort owing to the bindings with 3D strap and toe strap cap.
