WHY WEAR SHIN GUARDS?
To keep combat sports fun for both you and your opponent, get into the right habits. Always wear protective gear during training sessions.
The shin is one of the most protruding bones in the human body which is why shin guards are essential when doing boxing (particularly kickboxing and Muay Thai) or martial arts (karate, taekwondo).
DESIGN
The 3D mesh coating helps wick away perspiration and dries off quickly (Air Cooling technology). Two wide, elasticated velcro straps hold it perfectly in place. The dual-density shaped foam protects your shin.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SHIN GUARD
You should choose based on the discipline you do (kickboxing, Muay Thai, martial arts).
- For barefoot disciplines, we recommend shin and foot guards.
- If you wear shoes, shin guards will be enough.
The differences between products are:
- the outer layer: polyester for less weight or polyurethane for better protection,
- the fixing system: velcro or sleeves.
WHICH SIZE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
You should choose your shin guard based on your height.
Here is the size chart:
- Less than 134 cm: size S
- 134 cm - 152 cm: size M
- 152 cm - 170 cm: size L
- 170 cm - 188 cm: size XL
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place the shin guard between your ankle and knee with the foam over your shin, and adjust the rip-tabs. The shin guard shouldn't slip or squeeze your leg.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Dry in a dry, well-ventilated place. Do not dry on a radiator.
