Product feature
  1. How can I be sure my jacket will give me proper protection in bad weather?
The Slide 300 jacket was developed with an uncompromising component and assembly to prevent water from entering and reduce wind chill so that you can cope with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.). To validate this jacket's waterproof rating, it was placed in a special shower that replicates the conditions a skier has to cope with. We approved this product's waterproofing by skiing in different weather conditions for several days.
  2. What is the point of my jacket's water repellent properties?
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to allow water to run off its surface without seeping in. The Slide 300 jacket is equipped with water-repellent components that will prolong its resistance to bad weather. This is an additional technical solution for staying dry for as long as possible on the ski slopes. In order to remain effective, this treatment must be regularly restored using products sold in our stores.
  3. "Coated" jacket: what are the advantages of this coating?
The coating is a waterproof material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. So you stay dry and feel more comfortable while practising your sport.
  4. Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have taped seams?
In addition to the waterproof fabric, we have enhanced the waterproof rating of the Slide 300 jacket with taped seams. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are present on the areas most exposed to snow, i.e. the seat in general.
  5. How will my ski jacket keep me warm?
We use wadding for insulation to help keep you warm. This polyester-based synthetic material traps air, the quantity of which will depend on the size of the fibres. Wadding can be standard, high-tech or siliconised, each with different properties: warmth, lightness, flexibility, etc.
  6. What is a "breathable" jacket?
It is a product that lets the water vapour produced by the body during exercise escape, keeping you dry. To see if a fabric is breathable, we measure its resistance to evaporative heat (RET) in a standardised ISO 11092 test. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wed'ze uses high-tech materials and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) that help prevent condensation inside the garment. Slide 300 component RET < 12
  7. How should I dress to avoid feeling cold on the slopes?
To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: 1 ski base layer and 1 liner jacket for keeping warm, 1 ski jacket to protect you from bad weather.
  8. Where can I put my ski pass when taking ski lifts?
You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket so you can gain quick access to the lifts.
  9. Windproof
This is the garment’s resistance to the wind. The fabric is made windproof by adding a coating or a membrane to the inside. When skiing on the slopes or riding on lifts, protect yourself from the wind to prevent chills for maximum comfort.
  10. Durability
We know how much energy is expended during a day's skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we take particular care in choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible protection.
  11. Lift pass pocket
You no longer need to get your lift pass out because your sleeve has a lift pass pocket for quick access to cable cars.

The exact same jacket is available at 1/2 the price without discounts, on decathlod bulgaria. why is it so expensive even with a discount in the UK? VAT is also lower in the UK, I don't get the pricing strategy.
  • Did well in Blackpool

Brought it for my other half when we went to Blackpool. It kept him dry and warm. It has a quirky design and is unique; not like most other wateeproof jackets at the moment. It's great to put over the top of hoodies.

Snowboarded in this in Jan and was warm enough for sure. Real nice looking Jacket that punches well above it's weight. Don't over fill the pockets with stuff, as I managed to pull the stitches around one of the front zips. For the money it is excellent!
