Product feature
  1. How can I be sure my jacket will protect me well in bad weather?
The Slide 900 trousers were developed with a rigorous arrangement and assembly to prevent water from entering and to limit the feeling of the wind, to help you cope with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.). To check that they are waterproof, these trousers were placed in a special shower reproducing the conditions a skier has to cope with. We approved this product's waterproofness by skiing in different conditions for several days.
  2. What's the point of having water-repellent trousers?
Water repellent fabric allows water to run off its surface without seeping in. The Slide 900 trousers are made from water-repellent materials to prolong their resistance to bad weather. This hi-tech solution will keep you dry longer on the ski slopes. For it to remain effective, you must repeat this treatment regularly using the products sold in our stores.
  3. "Coated" trousers: what are the advantages of this coating?
The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. So you stay dry for greater comfort while practising your sport.
  4. What is a membrane and what's it for?
The trouser membrane consists of a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. It is hydrophilic and blocks the water arriving from the exterior while evacuating perspiration produced by the body within. The membrane is indispensable for staying warm and dry.
  5. Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have waterproof seams?
As well as the waterproof material, we use sealed seams to make the Free 900 jacket more waterproof. These are waterproof adhesive strips fixed to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are present on the areas most exposed to snow.
  6. How will my ski trousers keep me warm?
We use wadding for insulation to help keep you warm. This synthetic material containing polyester stores more or less air, depending on the size of the fibres. Wadding can be standard, hi-tech or siliconised, each has different properties: warmth, lightweight, flexibility, etc.
  7. What are "breathable" trousers?
It is a product that wicks away the moisture produced by your body during exercise, in order to keep you dry. To see if a fabric is breathable, we measure its resistance to evaporative heat, called Ret, in a standardised ISO 11092 test. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wed'ze uses hi-tech materials and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) that help prevent condensation inside the garment. Slide 900 trousers RET < 12
  8. How should I dress to avoid having cold legs on the slopes?
To keep the legs warm and dry: wear 2 breathable layers, for example a ski undergarment or a pair of ski tights to retain warmth and ski trousers to protect you from bad weather.
  9. How can I prevent snow from getting into my trousers?
Our trousers have elasticated gaiters at the bottom that cover the shoes. If you fall or ski in fresh snow, the seal created by the gaiter keeps the snow out.
  10. Thermal insulation recommendation
To be prepared for all types of weather, layering is the best option. However, you shouldn't do it with just any kind of garments: In direct contact with the skin, choose high-tech, warm but also breathable liner-trousers (for perspiration wicking). There's nothing worse than having wet legs due to sweating when out skiing. Avoid cotton and go for something synthetic, more breathable, better ventilated...
  11. RECCO® search and rescue system
The RECCO® rescue system features a two-part technology that is used by the emergency services in most ski resorts. The RECCO® detector used by rescue teams emits a directional signal. The RECCO® reflector built into the jacket returns the signal. This generates an audible sound which guides rescue personnel directly to the person needing assistance. Before setting out, make sure you get the information you need from the professionals of the resort

  • Great buy..,, only if you are in the exact size

Trousers are nice and with good quality.
However, missing suspenders is critical for having the full experience enjoyable.
The side scotchs are to short to hold properly or support smaller width.
Please offer additional extension, or suspenders that will help my trousers not to drop while skiing this key function while having extensive exercise. Had to improvise with ropes.. Looked kinda funny :(

I would love to buy suspenders that can be added to Slide900 product.

Fabric zipper and rest are good quality and provide nice skiing experience.

I found the upper thigh vents very helpful in regulating my temperature when working hard on the slopes plus the flash of bright colour with them open gives a nice contrast touch too.
    Comfortable all day long.
