The price is right

Given the exorbitant price of other products of this type on the market, I found these TT extensions to be well specced and good value. Some other reviewers here complained about the aero bridge falling out or falling apart after retightening - worth thinking about, but I'm using bar end shifters with mine so no problems there for me. Other complained that it's too heavy but again for the price this is not a big surprise. Plus if you're doing TTs or Tri (generally flat) then this shouldn't be too much of a concern. If you're doing a hillier TT you may not particularly need these. I wouldn't recommend pairing with carbon extensions because the tightening torque at the clamps is 8-10Nm which may crush them. It would be better if it came with 400mm extensions so shorter customers can trim them down and taller ones (like myself) don't have to look elsewhere for extra tubes. This would add a dimension of adjustability this product is missing. Overall a fine product for the price.
Good value, could be better

Pretty light and easy to fit. Low cost.

Two areas they could be better:
1) If the extension bars were mounted to the lower side of the bracket and the arm rests had a spacer piece to sit closer to the handlebars. I'm able to compensate as I had a couple of spacers below the stem that allowed me to lower my bars, but if you are already at the lowest point you could be a little higher then you want to be.
2) My first effort with a flat(ish) bar. Previously I've had ones that angle up and can be help with the wrists in a more natural position, I find this style puts pressure on the wrist if you want to hold the bar, I will look to add an extension piece or change the bar style, its ok over short distances, but painful on longer rides
Amazing value for money
Cooper (United Kingdom) Used for 3 to 6 months
I have only been using these for four months, but I can already see that my purchase was a good one; they fit impeccably on the handlebar, the pads are comfortable, they are very stable, so much so that I can lift my btwin road bike with them, definitely recommend them!
No foam pads in the pack
Paul (United Kingdom)
I bought the aero bars, got them home a fitted them to find the foam pads were missing from the box !! Assuming these had been stolen ? Not a happy bunny !!
Response of the brand
I can appreciate your frustration. Can't believe that someone would steal them.
Please contact your local store and we can give you a new set of pads.
