I cable tie mine to the pedals due to the pedal design.
Very good service
Didn't want to go down the route of clip pedals/shoes etc and I think these are an excellent compromise, feel safe to use, easy to slip in and out of and give some resistance.
Good quality and reasonable price
I've bought these for two different bikes because I don't want to do SPD.
toe clips are easy to fit to any standard pedal with mounting holes. One fault was the used is only size 4 shoe and we found her foot then sat too far forward on the pedal. The toe clip could also interfere with the front wheel on slow tight turns.
easy fit
only one size
easy to fit an safe to use
I got these for my road bike as I didn't want to go the full hog to SPDs just yet. They are excellent. They give better control of the pedals and have no problems at all with slipping, and don't think this will happen. They even help me to pull up on the pedal despite someone else saying they didn't find this with them - works for me. The only slight negative is they turn the wrong way round when you stop. I might try and find a way to stop this, but even so they aren't that hard to pick up with your foot.
easy to fit, Price - Avoids slipping.
slip upside down when not in use.
I bought these as I'm getting into cycling and have a fairly low end mountain bike and wanted the extra security of my feet not slipping off the pedals when climbing out of the saddle.
They are great value and easy to fit (as long as you don't have moulded pedals without openings on the ends in which case you can't fit them) and do the job. They offer a little resistance when pulling the pedals which is a bonus but I imagine nowhere near the benefit of a proper clip so shouldn't be bought for that purpose. When my feet are in them the pedal is under the ball of my foot (i'm a size 8) so feels good but I guess this may vary with different size feet.
The only niggle is that when your feet aren't in them their weight flips the pedals upside down so it can be fiddly when stopping and starting to get your other foot back in and can feel a little hairy on busy roads but you get the hang of it and if you can find something to lean against when stopping then you don't need to put your feet down.
Easy to fit, stop feet sliding off pedals
Bit fiddly to slide feet into
Very good product. Worth the money.
