Waterproofing:
The exclusive Novadry component is guaranteed to keep you dry even in a downpour. In the rain simulator, the jacket spent 4 hours under the equivalent of a 100 L/hr/sqm shower without the tiniest drop getting through the product. The component's waterproofing is guaranteed to withstand more than 5,000 mm of water pressure. All seams are fully taped.
Hood:
The hood has a quilted lining for better thermal insulation. It has buttons so that it can be removed. Its ergonomic design hugs your head, making it very effective.
Protection of documents and accessories:
The inner zip pocket secures and protects documents and accessories from moisture.
Hand warmer pockets:
Two roomy pockets keep your hands warm and protect them from the wind and rain.
Wrist adjustment:
The cuffs have buttoned tabs that can be tightened at the wrist.
Jacket fastening:
The reefer jacket fastens using buttons combined with a central zip made of injected plastic that resists oxidation from salt water. This combination of a zip and a large buttoned flap offers excellent protection from poor weather.
Jacket lining:
The jacket is completely lined with 100 g/sqm softhermic quilting for a lighter weight and greater freedom of movement. This insulation provides a thermal protection value of 1.60 Clo.
What is breathability and the RET index?
The breathability of your CR100+ Women's Warm Reefer Jacket corresponds to its ability to let your body's perspiration escape. It is measured by its Resistance to Evaporative Transfer (ISO 11092 standard). The RET is a resistance index; the lower the value, the greater the breathability of the fabric. RET between 6 - 9: extremely breathable, between 10 - 13: very breathable, between 14 - 17: breathable, between 18 - 20: not very breathable, greater than 20: not breathable.
What is a waterproofing test or "shower test"?
Approved test in which your CR100+ W Warm Reefer is placed under a shower simulating different weather conditions.
All our products are certified fully waterproof having been tested for 4+ hours in rain of 100 L/hr/sqm to 450 L/hr/sqm depending on the product use. To give you an idea:
the world record for 4.5 hours of precipitation was 174 L/hr/sqm, unmatched since 1942 in the USA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, USDC). Average rainfall in Paris is 2 L/hr/sqm (www.Paris.fr)
Water repellent component:
Water repellency is achieved through a treatment applied to the outside of your CR100+ W Warm Reefer Jacket. This treatment causes water to slide over the surface without soaking in. This prevents the component from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, breathable, and warm. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime. Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores.
How important is windproofing?
Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body significantly whether you are active or at rest. According to the "windchill" model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind and cold: at a temperature of 5°C, combined with winds of 30 km/h, the temperature felt will be 0°C. If the air temperature is 0°C and wind speed is 40 km/h, the temperature felt will be -7°C. Your CR100+ women's warm reefer jacket counters the windchill effect
What is the Clo index?
The Clo is the scale that measures the thermal resistance of your CR100+ Women's Warm Reefer Jacket. During the test, your technical garment's component is exposed to a temperature close to body temperature and a controlled exterior temperature. The Clo index reflects the ability of your CR100+ Women's Warm Reefer Jacket to retain your body heat inside the garment. The higher the clo index, the better the technical component will preserve the heat emitted by your body.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
Novadry re-creates storm conditions in its weather simulator. In this context, after 4 hours of rainfall at a rate of 100 L/hr/sqm, our CR100+ Women's Warm Reefer Jacket was still keeping its wearer dry. To give you an idea of what this means, the world record for 4.5 hours of precipitation was 174 L/hr/sqm, unmatched since 1942 in the USA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, USDC), and when it rains in Paris, the average rainfall is 2 L/hr/sqm (www.Paris.fr).
