Exclusive system made up of a strap that passes under the ankle. The lace fastening tightens the straps, which gives better hold on the ‘instep’ without reducing comfort. With the angle of the strap being in line with the laces, you can’t feel any hard points. This gives an unparalleled stability, giving more accuracy and safety on the run.
The rubber pad that comes in contact with the ground is continuous from heel to toe. This structure was chosen to improve foot motion and to provide more grip surface. The Sticky Rubber provides exceptional grip. To avoid premature wear on the heel, the red rubber is a highly abrasion resistant rubber which provides more durability without affecting grip.
In addition to the 360° system, the X Stab Concept, the TPU part (rigid plastic), stabilises the heel. This part, encased in the compressed EVA section of the heel, helps to stabilise and hold the heel in place on the back of the shoe. This part goes along the sides to be covered by the 360° system strap, then it becomes thinner up to the middle of the front of the foot. It adds rigidity to the shoes and, with the injected EVA in the front sole, optimises the recovery.
How to choose your shoe size
For trail practice, feel free to pick a size above your usual shoe size to guarantee optimal comfort when going downhill and to avoid your toes hitting the front of the shoe. Advice: keep your toenails short and, before any descent, check that your laces stop your foot from sliding to the front of the shoe. To check your shoe size, click on “Which size to choose” (near the “buy” or “add to basket” button) and follow the instructions.
