Wadding thermal insulation
The thermal insulation will keeps young skiers and snowboarders at the right temperature: not too warm, nor too cold. The garment then adapts to the physical activity of the body and the outside environment. We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. The wadding is a synthetic material with a polyester base that traps more or less air according to the size of fibres. The thicker the wadding, the more air there is, and the warmer it is.
Membrane
The membrane is a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in while wicking away the perspiration produced by the body. The membrane is unbeatable when it comes to staying warm and dry.
Fully taped seams
As well as the waterproof fabric, we increase the watertightness of our 900 jacket with taped seams. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. All the seams on the product are taped seams. They guarantee that the clothing is completely waterproof to snow.
Ventilation zips
The ventilation zips open with zips that enable you to manage air circulation to provide you with extra moisture management during active and inactive stages when skiing.
Durability
We know how much energy is expended during a day's skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we take particular care in choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible protection. Given that properly sharpened skis can tear or cut the bottoms of ski trousers or the shoulders of ski jackets, Wedze has added high-performance reinforcements to prevent tearing as much as possible.
Snow skirt
The snow skirt is a protective system located at the waist. It closes using press studs at the bottom of your skiing or snowboarding jacket. It prevents snow and draughts from entering when practicing wintersports, especially in the event of a fall.
Ski pass pocket
You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket so you can gain quick access to the lifts.
Personalisation
Label at the top of the lining on the back, as well as in the jacket to write your child's name and personalise the product. Very useful to find your jacket in the ski school!
