WHY CHOOSE LIGHT RUNNING SHOES?
The research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance by reducing energy consumption. To design the KS LIGHT, there was no compromise in terms of comfort and resistance and the decision was taken to use lighter components and an optimised sole design.
The result? The KIPRUN KS LIGHT shoe is 12% lighter than the KIPRUN LONG.
Weight: 240 g in size 5.5.

THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSHIONING
For long-lasting running performance with optimum comfort, we have developed 2 concepts:
- K-Ring: a ring located in the heel improves rear cushioning and disperses the shockwave to protect the body (joints, back, knees, etc.) effectively
- Kalensole: Exclusive foam, developed with our R&D department improves cushioning by 34%, delivers 25% more energy response than traditional foam and offers resistance up to 1,000 km

DID YOU SAY STABLE?
A stable shoe that facilitates the roll-through of the foot and reduces the effort needed to control the foot and the heel for a more relaxed foot motion. We have increased the surface supporting the foot and added reinforcement at the back of the heel.
THE COMFORT OF THE KIPRUN KS LIGHT
In order to run regularly over long distances, foot comfort is of the utmost importance.
We have sought to improve this comfort with:
- a new collar at the back of the shoe ensuring excellent heel support and ideal softness.
- a preformed sole made of open-cell PU (polyurethane) foam.
- a revised forefoot area
- a seamless, single piece of fabric to reduce friction.

EXCELLENT ROAD-HOLDING ABILITY ON WET ROADS AND BENDS
Our sole is designed like a car tyre for running performance without losing control in wet conditions.
The new geometry of the sole combined with a new rubber component provides the KIPRUN KS LIGHT with excellent grip on wet terrain, even at top speed.

The Kalenji team includes runners of all levels of ability. Every day, we test our products to try them out and improve them.
They are then tested by a panel of users under the real-life conditions for which they are designed.
Before being worn by you, they have therefore covered several thousand miles and dozens of races, from 10 km to marathon distances.
