Important use restriction

The decree of 5 October 2020 relating to the collective hunting of large game stipulates that it is compulsory for hunters and their companions to wear a fully fluorescent top garment; two-tone clothing does not fall within this framework.

This jacket is suitable for hunting small game but should not be used for drive hunting big game.

YOU'RE SAFE FROM RAIN AND DRIPPING BRANCHES ALONG YOUR PATH: THE RENFORT 520 JACKET IS WATERPROOF

With a waterproof rating of 5000 mm, the RENFORT 520 jacket offers a high level of waterproofing. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the tissue is. The component of our jacket can therefore withstand the pressure of 5000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a heavy downpour). This garment has passed a shower test under 100 litres of water/sqm/hour for 3 hours.

The jacket is water repellent too. What are we talking about here?

In addition to making rain and wet woodlands a non-issue, this jacket is also water repellent. A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off the surface of the fabric, without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. Did we mention the seams and zips on this model are waterproof?

A functional and practical product, with easily accessible pockets

Do not cover with anything else, (such as a backpack) to keep you clearly visible. In addition, even when wearing it you must follow the current safety codes when hunting (see instructions). The extra little details of this vest

Inside these two 3 in 1 low pockets, you will find a zipped pocket for keys, documents, or permits, as well as a cartridge pouch that can hold 5 ammunition, thus 10 in total. On this vest, our hunter designers also thought to include 2 hooks to keep the remote control of your dog's collar close at hand. A hood is hidden in the collar, and a large game bag is included for game killed (opens fully for cleaning).

Additional information concerning breathability

Created for woodcock hunters, but perfect for small game hunters who hunt in difficult areas as well, this specialised jacket includes lateral zip vents to ensure better ventilation. Last but not least, the inner ventilated mesh helps wick away perspiration: highly useful when walking for miles behind your dogs as they follow their noses.
