Children's snowboarding mittens - MI 500 JR Protect, black and orange

In snowboarding, "buckle fractures" are some of the most frequent injuries in children. Although you recover well and fairly quickly, it's still a fracture. To significantly reduce this risk, this mitten was designed and tested according to a protocol resulting from the EN 14120 standard, on 3 important points in particular:

_ cushioning at the palm

_ limited wrist extension angle

_ extremely good support on the hand and wrist thanks to the mitten + wrist guard combination.

There are 3 reasons for this:

_ The foam in the palm of the hand and the wrist reinforcement plate will be correctly positioned

_ you can't lose or forget the wrist guard. For kids AND parents, this seemed really worthwhile to us.

_and therefore very reassuring: if your child is wearing their mittens, they will be protected.

For these mittens, we deliberately put the sleeve of the jacket over the mittens.

It is long to protect the wrist and narrow so that the sleeve fits easily over it.

There is an elastic strap for removing the gloves on ski lifts without any risk of losing them.

The water-repellent feature makes water run off the fabric without seeping in thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 to 3 washes on average, using products available in our stores.
