Why is the base made of rubber?
Its coating absorbs shocks and prevents scratches. However, regardless of the weight, it is essential to use a protective floor covering to protect your home. For complete safety and maximum comfort during your workouts, we recommend using our mat (ref: 8873350).
Our products are made from at least 80% recycled cast iron
Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! To ensure that the quality is the same as classic cast iron, tests are carried out in partner laboratories.

Our trainer's advice for improving your training (2/2)
For each exercise, start with the lowest number of reps (ensure that you don't go until failure, and leave a margin of 2 reps compared to your maximum), then increase by one rep per week until you reach the higher number in the recommended range. You can then increase your weight.
For a greater challenge, you can build running in between your rounds, or reduce (or even remove) your recovery time.
