TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Fleece component: Insulation provided by air
The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture. this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. It is the brushing of the knit fabric that traps the air.
Thermal comfort and windproof
The wind causes the perceived temperature to decrease considerably.
With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°.
"Windproof" components fight the uncomfortable effects associated with this "freezing effect". Very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
Sizing information
Fitted style: Very fitted cut and elastane composition for great comfort in use.
Select your usual size or one size larger if you prefer looser clothing.
Component test
Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we check that the fleeces do not pill using tests conducted in the laboratory. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure that colours do not bleed. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness or appearance.
How to dress properly for hiking in the snow
To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:
layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.
layer 3: The jacket protects from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.
How does my product warranty work?
This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: a test of the material of our fleeces or a thermal dummy test in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions that you encounter in the mountains when walking at 5 km/h. These tests allow us to validate our design choices. We then adapt the thermal insulation to the areas most exposed to the cold.

We have incorporated recycled polyester into this product (instead of conventional polyester, which is itself derived from petrochemical plastic). What does this mean? In addition to being technical, this product has been designed taking into account its environmental impact: using recycled polyester means recovering and transforming products destined to be thrown away, such as production offcuts or plastic bottles, instead of using new oil resources.
