TESTS AND WARRANTY

Test product

These hiking shorts have been subjected to abrasion tests in our Quechua design centre in Passy, in Haute-Savoie, France. Before being selected, the material of the shorts was tested in our Decathlon Sportslab laboratory; then, once designed, the shorts were worn with a loaded backpack for 10 hours of active walking.

These shorts were tested and approved in May 2022 by a group of testers during a day hiking on two routes in the Monts du Lyonnais. In order to meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the wild in the conditions you encounter during your hikes. Our teams, along with a panel of testers (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test the products throughout their development.

With ecodesign, we reduce the environmental impact of our products.

Analysing the product's environmental footprint enabled us to identify the most impactful stages of its life cycle. Thanks to this approach, our design teams were able to develop this product while significantly reducing its environmental impact.
