What’s in the pack?
You have: -1 solar panel -1 output cable with 6 V/9 V/12 V selector -1 mounting system -adapters -1 user guide Not included: 5 V 2000 mA power supply and USB-C cable.
Solar panel installation tips
Thanks to the mounting system supplied, installation is extremely simple: -adjust the angle of the mounting bracket so that the panel is facing the sun (in an unshaded location, preferably facing south) -tilt it at 45 degrees if possible -do not install it in a location where sunlight may be blocked from getting to the panel -the brighter the sunlight, the faster the charge: don’t forget that if it’s cloudy, the charging time will be longer.
Connecting the solar panel to a hunting camera / camera trap
Plug one end of the output cable into the solar panel output socket (OUT) and then plug the other end of the output cable into the external power port of your camera trap. Please note: we recommend that you install batteries in the camera trap even when it is connected to the solar panel (otherwise the trap could stop working due to a power shortage or intensive use).
Charging the solar panel battery
Fully charge the solar panel’s built-in battery before use. It can be charged using solar power (1) or mains electricity (2): - 1/: place the solar panel in direct sunlight. The brightness of the sunlight significantly affects the battery’s charging speed -2/: plug the power supply (not included) into the port on the solar panel and then plug it into a mains outlet to start charging.
