Design details

How do the ear defenders work?
These ear defenders have button to turn them on and off: an acoustic signal sounds when the defenders are switched on and off. Two buttons (+ / -) are then used to adjust the amplification volume. These defenders are active: they have a sound modulation system to remain in contact with the environment, while attenuating acoustic shocks (ambient noise is reduced, but audible frequencies are maintained).
Our tips
Depending on your activity (target shooting, clay pigeon shooting, hunting) and the location (shooting range, lowlands, forest, etc.), you can adjust the amplification volume. So you need to be able to hear your environment, there is no point in over-amplifying it. Please note: when outdoors, pay attention to the wind, which will create a blast effect in the microphones.
What is the level of protection of these ear defenders?
Noise reduction rating 25dB. This value (Single Number Rating) provides information about the protective effect of hearing protection products. These ear defenders with an SNR of 25 reduce the noise level to which you are exposed by up to 25 decibels. H=28dB, M=21dB, L=16dB
The main features of these active noise-cancelling defenders
These light defenders (310 g), are comfortable to wear thanks to their padded, foldable headband, designed to fit every head shape. The battery life is almost 400 hours in standby mode with the 2 AAA batteries (the ear defenders have a low battery warning). The ear cups and the battery compartment are waterproof. This Sordin Supreme Pro X model also features a 3.5mm jack auxiliary audio input for walkie-talkies.
4 pre-programmed audio profiles to suit your use
The ear defenders feature the new HEAR2 audio system, with 4 audio profiles that can be activated at any time: -hunting mode (balance between hearing protection and amplification of ambient sounds) -shooting mode (reduced sound spectrum for maximum concentration during shooting sessions) -concentration mode (maximum amplification of surrounding sounds so that no sound escapes you) -communication mode (no amplification of external sounds)
