WHY GET AN EXERCISE BIKE?
Provides a complete workout which: - gradually get back in shape - works your heart, thereby increasing your endurance - tones your lower body muscles The World Heath Organisation recommends committing to a moderate intensity endurance activity for at least 2.5 hours per week to improve your cardiorespiratory endurance, your muscular and bone structure, and overall health.
Flywheel and smooth pedalling
The heavier the flywheel, the smoother and more pleasant the stepping motion!
THE CONSOLE, YOUR VIRTUAL COACH
The Domyos E Fold exercise bike's console displays: - 6 functions: calories burnt, distance covered, workout time, speed, heart rate (monitor belt included) and RPM. - 9 programs developed in cooperation with our coaches to help you with your training.
A CONNECTED BIKE
Get motivated, reach your goals, or just have fun by connecting your device to the compatible apps Econnected or Kinomap. With E-connected, you can set a weekly time, distance, or calorie goal: your performance is recorded and you can track your stats. With Kinomap, travel over real scenery in total synchronisation with your device. At your own pace or in challenge mode, alone or with the Kinomap community, you can get a truly unique experience.
TRACKING YOUR HEART RATE
Your Domyos E FOLD exercise bike comes with a heart rate monitor belt. This is the most reliable way to measure your heart rate. Moisten the sensors on the belt before positioning it just below the chest. Adjust it to fit. After a few seconds, your heart rate will appear on the screen of your console.
TIPS FOR ADJUSTING YOUR BIKE
Adjusting the height of the seat is important to ensure that you maintain a healthy posture while pedalling. Stand next to the bike and adjust the seat to the height of your hip. On this bike, you can also tilt the handlebar angle: - tilt it closer to you to pedal with a straight back - title it away from you for a sportier position and more powerful pedalling. Be sure to tighten the toe clips to fit your feet.
TIPS FOR ADJUSTING THE STABILITY ON YOUR BIKE
The E Fold exercise bike has two stabilisers at the front foot with two positions: One when the bike is unfolded for better stability while in use One when the bike is folded for easier moving For optimal comfort, we suggest using specific floor pads under your bike (DF920 floor pads). These foam pads will help to: optimise the stability of the bike when in use, reduce vibrations and noise and protect your floor.
TIPS FOR FOLDING YOUR BIKE
1. Stand at the rear of the bike. 2. Place one hand on the saddle so you can pull it towards you. 3. Place one foot against the back of the base of the bike and lightly press against it. 4. This frees up the Domyos EASY PUSH button at the right of the bike: now press this button! 5. When the button is pushed down, pull the bike towards you to quickly fold it.
TIPS FOR MOVING YOUR BIKE
The Domyos E Fold exercise bike is designed to be moved easily and stored in an upright position. Move your bike by pushing or pulling the handlebars or the saddle. The patented Domyos Carry Balls system lets you move the bike in any direction. To easily move your bike on thick carpet, pull the bike while holding the saddle post or handlebar post. Pulling the bike is easier than pushing it in this case.
