Close-fitting feminine cut. Loose cut allows you to wear this jacket with a warm second layer such as a pullover or fleece.
Hood
Removable. Height and depth adjustable with elastic drawcords and toggles. Highly covering "tempest" style hood with shaped visor for maximum face protection.
Outside jacket pockets
2 hand pockets + 1 chest pocket + 1 shoulder pocket + 1 inside pocket. All pockets are zipped.
Jacket hem adjustment
Elastic drawcords and toggles.
Sleeve adjustment
With rip-tabs.
Removable inner jacket
Quilted anorak with 2 zipped hand-warmer pockets, 1 zipped inner pocket, and 2 netted "quick access" pockets.

To renew the fabric's water repellent properties and optimise performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.We recommend using these products with each wash.
Waterproof component
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed as a water column of mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting one hour).
Waterproof garment
NOVADRY® technology: this garment has been subjected to a shower test using 100 litres of water/sqm/hour for 4 hours. This test reproduces the conditions of a violent storm in the mountains. Please visit Novadry.com for more information.
Component breathability
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity evaporates, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9<RET<12 = very breathable fabric / 12<RET<20 = breathable fabric / RET>20 = little or no breathability.
Breathability
In addition to breathable fabrics, Quechua develops technical solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh, etc.) to improve the overall ventilation of its trekking jackets and overtrousers (Forclaz and Helium lines).
Water repellent component
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight, breathable and warm. Water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Water repellent treatment products are available in our stores. All Quechua waterproof jackets have received a water repellent treatment
