Description

Design details

The first Solognac bag for disassembled shotguns
Transport your shotgun in complete safety, in your car or to your hide, thanks to this disassembled hunting gun bag. With an external length of 83 cm and weighing 800 g, it allows you to store your weapon separately: the barrels and fore-end in one compartment and the butt in the other. Our designer and engineer developed this model mainly for hunters who want to store their shotgun without causing any damage, and to put it in a small boot, in particular.
Designed to transport your weapon in complete safety
This case has exterior reinforcements on both sides, made of 15-mm thick double-density foam. Interior protection is optimal too. the 2 compartments are separated by a 15 mm foam divider to prevent the parts of the weapon from being damaged by contact and/or shocks. The case is opened and closed using a zip and the flap can be clipped at the bottom for added protection
Data on the dimensions of the bag
Barrel and fore-end compartment: Length: 83 cm (external dimension) Length: 81 cm (internal dimension) Width of the highest part: 19.5 cm (external dimension) Width of the lowest part: 11.5 cm (external dimension) Thickness: 2.5 cm (internal dimension) Butt compartment: Length: 60 cm (external dimension) Length: 58 cm (internal dimension) Width: 19.5 cm (external dimension) Thickness: 2.5 cm (internal dimension)
How does the foam in this bag protect your firearm?
This bag features a specific foam on the sides that offers maximum protection to your shotgun. We opted for a combination of a 10 mm polyethylene (PE) foam, plus a 5 mm polyurethane (PU) foam, to produce this 15 mm thick double-density foam. PU is a highly resistant material used in many different sectors. You really care about your shotgun, so give it the protection it deserves.
Space-savings and greater discretion: two essential factors that guided us in the development of this bag
The bag can be carried using the shoulder strap, which is padded for greater comfort, or by hand, thanks to the two handles. This is an important advantage. bags for disassembled shotguns are more discreet! Imagine that you live in a town and you have to walk along a crowded street to reach your vehicle. You will feel more at ease with this bag.
The bag: an essential accessory for carrying a hunting firearm
It's the law: in all public or private places, all firearms must be unloaded and secured in a case or disassembled during transport in a vehicle (source: oncfs.gouv.fr). Likewise, hunters who must walk several minutes to get to their hide, and want to reliably protect their weapon, need a suitable bag.
What about the finish?
You will have noticed the authentic style of this model. Flecked green/olive, with contrasting inserts that give this model a noble and sturdy look. Plus an exterior pouch with two press studs to store your small accessories. The metal double zip can be padlocked, and the exterior fabric is water-repellent (in light rain, the water slides off the fabric without penetrating the bag) to prevent the gun from being pitted.
