The Aquila 29x2.50 is conceived as a true "gravity allrounder." Its tread design strikes a balance between low rolling resistance and wide shoulders for strong traction and braking power, making it suitable for enduro, downhill and demanding all-mountain rides.
Featuring a 60 TPI casing and TRC foldable (Kevlar) construction, this tyre combines lightness with robustness. The design aims to provide enough suppleness for grip while maintaining good protection against punctures and deformation.
The soft 50 compound delivers excellent traction on technical and wet terrain, improving start traction and braking power without completely sacrificing durability.
Recommended rim width: 28–35 mm. For optimal performance the Aquila is often fitted to the front (TRC) while a more longevity-focused compound can be chosen for the rear (e.g. Ibex GRC).
Available in black/skinwall (brown) finish, this tyre suits both female (Damen) and male (Herren) bikes and riders, offering a sober, technical look.
