The Maxxis ASSEGAI, Greg Minnaar's signature tire, is entirely dedicated to Enduro, combining the best of the Minion, High Roller II, and DHF. It owes its name to the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa, a fitting name for a tire ready to battle the mountains. Designed to maximize traction, this tire features large-block side knobs that provide excellent grip on roots. Its dual-density rubber compound ensures excellent cornering grip and high straight-line speed, while the tread pattern enhances traction, efficiency, and braking performance. This Tubeless Ready version, which can be mounted with or without an inner tube, also features an Exo+ casing on the sidewalls, providing increased protection against abrasion and tears. This Wide Trail version is ideal for rims with an internal width of 30 to 35 mm.
