KHE MAC3 BMX Tyre 20‘ x 2.40 – with double carcass After more than two years of development, the KHE MAC3 is now ready for the market! Our aim: to create one of the most durable yet lightest 2.40’ BMX street/park tyres on the market.
Whilst conventional BMX tyres have only a single layer of cotton cord, the MAC3 features a double-ply carcass made from Kevlar cord. Kevlar is significantly sturdier and lighter than cotton – and doesn’t soak up rubber.
The result: maximum stability at high air pressure (up to 6.9 bar / 100 PSI) combined with a sensationally low weight – just approx. 690 g! This makes the MAC3 ideal for tough street and park use.
