The BOSCH Gen4 chainring spider (or chainring support) is an essential component designed specifically for fourth-generation (Gen4) Bosch Performance Line CX motors. This part ensures a reliable and secure connection between the chainring and the motor axle of your electric bike (e-MTB or e-bike).
Key Features: Exclusive Gen4 Compatibility: Designed with the specific interface (direct mount) required by Bosch Performance Line CX motors (from 2020 onwards) and other Gen4 models. It ensures a perfect fit and optimal power transfer from the motor to the drivetrain.
Direct Mount: It allows the mounting of chainrings with the Direct Mount standard or can be used to accommodate a standard BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) chainring (e.g., a 104 mm BCD) if the desired chainring is not available in Direct Mount.
Material: Typically made of forged or CNC-machined aluminum to guarantee maximum rigidity and durability under the high stresses generated by electric assist systems.
Design: Its design is optimized to minimize weight while maintaining the essential strength required for aggressive use on an electric mountain bike.
